2020 has been an uncertain year for business. It is safe to say that we have all found ourselves in an unprecedented situation due to the prevalence of the Coronavirus, but we as a people have powered through with great resilience and ingenuity.
As we look towards 2021, we face new challenges. As you are aware, the UK has left the EU and are in the ‘transition’ period, which is due to end on the 31st December 2020. As of yet, it is unclear whether the UK will leave with a deal, and what it will mean for the metals industry.
We take our responsibilities of maintaining a seamless supply of material to our customers very seriously.
Our purchasing teams have been formulating contingency plans with all our key suppliers to minimise any interruption to our supply chain. We have also increased the volume of stock we currently hold to compensate for any logistical disruptions that may occur come January.
We have remained open to support your business throughout this year and want to ensure you that we will extend the same diligent service through to 2021.
Though there is uncertainty surrounding the future, we remain hopeful and positive.
Please be in touch if you have any questions about this, or if you have any requirements.
We hope to hear from you soon.
